Video you made us watch

The short film, "The Guide," relates to many things that we talked in class. During the film the community deals with poverty and must tear down the forest to  make money and they're not realizing what they're doing. The villagers are impoverished and will do anything and everything to survive the next day. They don't realize the impact their poaching will have on the environment, which will in turn affect future generations of their people. E.O Wilson teaches Tunga the ropes to learning about the environment throughout his the whole video. It makes Tunga realize he wants to be a biologist rather than a tour guide. In the end this short film made us recognize that small animals are as important as big animals and we should care for all animals the same.
