Lemurs for dinner ?

The article I read about was pretty crazy to be honest. It was about how in Madagascar Lemurs now represent the most endangered group of mammals on Earth with more than 90 percent of the 113 species being threatened with extinction. Right now lemurs are illegal to capture, kill, sell, or eat in Madagascar. But from the article it seems like the people in Madagascar dont care, they continue to sell Lemur meat and kill them. Also in the article people in Madagascar says  that some  restaurant are  serving Lemur meat to people. So if it was illegal, how come nobody is stepping up?

This would be under the Biodiversity category because it has to do with a standard living life of a species or animal. People are destroying our ecosystem around the world. Also it goes under biodiversity lost because if the Lemurs are disappearing its biodiversity.

We as people are the proplem because we're the ones who are killing them and making it hard for their survival. It's just common sense the more people we have the more the people are going to want to buy, sell, and eat the Lemurs. So more people will just make the situation worse.
