New Prehistoric Bird Species Discovered

The article I read about was about how A group of geologist at the University of Rochester has discovered a new species of bird in the Canadian Artic. They found that the fossil was approximately 90 million years old, and are the oldest avian records found in the Northernmost latitude. Also a thing they found interesting is that the bird had teeth and also from bones on the wing it was able to fly and also dive in the the water to catch fish. The group thinks the reason why the bird where there is because it was plenty of food, and back than the Artic could've been a warm environment for the birds to live in. This relates to what we learned in class because earlier in the year we talked about biodiversity lost.

From reading this in my prospective it was really interesting, this just shows us how many more fossils that's out there and also how different the world was back than.  like for a example how l the Canadian Artic is a Artic now but back than it was a warm place. Also  this article just tell me that we can still fine other animals we never discovered before if we take just take the time and dig for them. I believe throughout the years we will always fine new fossils and discover animals we never heard of.
